UH OH!
I was out taking photos of Anya today...okay, here and only here is where you'll get the full and complete story.
I put her on a snow bank where she was clearly not going to cooperate and stand on...not a very bright idea there. She fell backwards and slid a few feet down to the ground. This just resulted in a snowy Anya...it's what happened next that did it. :( I rolled my eyes and jumped over the snow bank to grab her. With my $750-irreplaceable-camera-that-isn't-really-mine, I had to be careful but I guess I didn't do too good of a job with that because Tina (that's my camera's name) got all snowy and wet. In an effort to save my camera and get it to safety, I grabbed Anya by her leg and threw her onto the concrete. Smart move.
So, I ran back inside (P.S. this whole time I had dog poop on my shoe) to dry off Tina so she didn't get damaged. About 10 minutes ago, I remembered Anya and went to go check on her to make sure she didn't get a terrible case of silver-eye or something, since after all her eyes are pinwheels. Nope, no silver-eye. Just that her right eye got knocked out of place or something when I threw her. I might send her in because new eyes are $14 which is almost affordable, but there goes my Flickr Pro... :P
The moral of this story is to not throw your doll onto concrete.

That's terrible! D:
ReplyDeleteSomething like that happened to one of my dolls where her eyelash has come loose and it's slid back into her eye. It's really hard to explain...
